software

  • LAINGAME - Re-creation of the Serial Experiments Lain PlayStation 1 video game.
  • protoweb - Time capsule web browser.
  • VIMM'S LAIR - Video games preservation website. They've got Guilty Gear ROMs and game manual scans.

other

  • cloudconvert.com - Filetype converter.
  • DITHER ME THIS - Image editor for dithering with a focus on emulating iconic dithering systems.
  • ORDERED DITHER MAKER - Image editor that reduces file sizes with dithering and color palette reduction. I use this one a lot.
  • Dither Image Online - The description for this says it's a "fast, free, real-time dither image generator" and it sure is! A little simpler than the above two dither-makers, but that's to its benefit because it makes it faster to use, too. The "contour" algorithm's my favorite.
  • DERAMP - Found this guy through his Altair 8800 videos. Site for super old computer stuff, like scanned manuals, parts, documentation, etc.

official

  • Arcsys.co.jp Guilty Gear site - The site for Guilty Gear pre-GGX. This link goes to a 1997 version of the site that suffers heavy glyph corruption. A snapshot of the site from 2001 with a slightly different layout is legible.
  • A.S.H. homepage - The website for the band that did some music for GG. Only recently taken offline (2025).
  • GuiltyGearX.com - The old official website for Guilty Gear. They updated this with GG news long after games like Isuka and GGXX were coming out.

I don't use bookmarks. I save links in a big list in Obsidian and never organize them. These things here are from that. This list will shrink as I get around to looking at them closer and moving them to better categories, or just removing them from this page entirely. However, I really need to clear out my Obsidian document so... Here are some of them for now.
